Ben challenged me to post 10 albums that have influenced my musical taste – one a day for 10 days. No explanation required (but you can if you want), no review (but you can if you want, I’m not your boss), just the cover. I’ve listened to plenty of VH – vinyl, cassette, CD, mp3, youtube, even had an 8 track. And hard to pick just one album – 1984, Diver Down, II, Women & Children First, … But – the classic. And if I have to pick just one track? Atomic Punk is the theme song playing as I walk down the sidewalk.

All good, my recommended track from this one? Moving to Florida (and the Melvin’s do a great cover of it, as well).
Album 7: Any Weird Al
Ben challenged me to post 10 albums that have influenced my musical taste – one a day for 10 days. No explanation required (but you can if you want), no review (but you can if you want, I’m not your boss), just the cover. If I have to pick one Weird Al, I’ll go with Dare to Be Stupid. For a song, let’s go with Albuquerque (but there are soo many good ones!) And if you didn’t see the NYT article a few months ago: The Weirdly Enduring Appeal of Weird Al Yankovic.
And I love White & Nerdy. And the classics – I Love Rocky Road, Yoda, Word Crimes, and the Hamilton Polka!!!!!
