We made it all of 50 meters down the trail then played in the water and &#8220;helped&#8221; some folks fishing..  Water, rocks, sticks, and fish &#8212; what else is there?<\/p>\n<p>Tom played lifeguard for Johnny and Aven.<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2011\/201105jemez_fishing\/#1\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" size=300 src=\"http:\/\/talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2011\/201105jemez_fishing\/imgs\/IMG_3292.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Aven tromped up and down the river (she couldn&#8217;t decide between the big kids and Johnny&#8217;s nice mellow pool)<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2011\/201105jemez_fishing\/#11\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" size=300 src=\"http:\/\/talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2011\/201105jemez_fishing\/imgs\/IMG_3302.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Waylon hid under his hat (from the sun&#8211;we slathered on the sunscreen as well!).  Waylon and Torsten had the water, sticks, rocks, and bridges to engineer.  They met another boy with a fishing pole, and got a few casts in.
