I pushed for some snow riding through the canyon &#8212; we found conditions worse\/better than I guessed.  Very challenging, and good training.  It was great to finally get out for a bike ride together!!<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2012\/2012biking\/#1\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=400 src=\"http:\/\/www.talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2012\/2012biking\/imgs\/IMG_0851.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n(Fluorescent yellow so the mountain lions can see us and not run us over when they ran past&#8230;)<br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>The trail had been driven by one car, and was very dry powder &#8212; mid-wheel deep.  It was very challenging riding (walking\/pushing), but good training.<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2012\/2012biking\/#5\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=300 src=\"http:\/\/www.talus-and-heavner.com\/im\/gallery\/2012\/2012biking\/imgs\/IMG_0855.jpg\"<\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s Max coming off the last of the snow &#8212; very mixed emotions when we hit the dirt.
